WATERCOLOR 3 - Vegetation:
A favorite lesson for me to teach includes plants, flowers, negative space.
When possible, will be outdoors, in a garden for one of two sessions.

That would be a focus on different approaches to plants and flowers. An Asian approach and a more euro-american tradition. We will also experiment with some very different ways to represent plants. And the second one will include abstracts from Nature.

Try your hand at an asian approach to vegetation, a Euro-American approach as well as some more abstract, experimental styles.

I like to spend one day outdoors in a garden and the second day in the classroom adding more experimental lessons.

Negative space is critical in watercolor and is an
interesting project when painting vegetation
